I think the key word here may be "suitcase." What have you done to piss kitty off?

Buwaha---my cat peed all over my laundry once, and it sorta mostly dried, so I didn't really notice till I'd already put the shirt on and started running around - as I got hot and sweaty (it was August in NC) the shirt started to REEK and I realized what had happened. Fortunately I had a change of clothes but I was super pissed. No pun intended. I know it was my fault for not changing the litter and leaving tempting clean clothes in the laundry room near the box, but still....little brat.

Well mine pisses on the carpet when I don't clean the litterbox. Oh yeah and throw rugs.
That is why soon he is going to be a porch kitty, when I move into my new house that has a screened porch

My (least) favorite cat piss story wasn't even from my own. Got home late at night from work, snuck a toe and a foot under my covers only to find a bit of moisture. Pulled back the covers to reveal an assload of moisture. Thanks, little prick kitty. Just the excuse I needed to spend a few hundred dollars on non-cat-urine-soaked bedding and a mattress.

I will tell you this from vast experience, because if we are even an hour late cleaning the litter pan, my Sarah will find clothes to pee on, always clean ones.

When you wash them, get the febreze stuff that you put in the wash, its the only thing I've found that will truly get the smell out for good.

Nah, if it's square and full of soft things, it's a catbox and it belongs to them.

Toss the suitcase -- once a cat has pissed on something like that, he/she'll do it again and again. Because he's marked it.

One of mine, Sabrina, started pissing on things because we locked her out of our bedroom at night and she, of course, didn't like it, being the diva she is.... I'm betting your cat knows what that suitcase is aalllll about - and yeah, you're definitely going to have to toss it. Yech.

If I don't clean the litter I find all sorts of presents in the basement...

That said, you should monitor this... if it keeps up you might find that your cat has a urinary tract infection or crystals... I had two cats that had this problem. Very expensive (make sure your cat food is low ash).

I would never beat a cat. They don't learn that way. The most effective method is to catch them in the act and spray them with a water bottle.

Is your cat male or female? Male cats tend to spray musk. Female cats will just pee on things for attention. (Like saying -hey! my litterbox is full).

We have two cats, and they both like to get revenge on us by peeing on everything and anything. Handbags, clothes, hubbys sneakers (that was a nice supprise when he put them on to go to the gym), open briefcase, spray on walls, beds etc. We even warn guests not to put bags on the floor and if they are staying overnight, to shut the door to the spare room.

Sometimes they do it coz their tray is full, but mostly it's revenge. I'm too soft with them, I just yell and clean it up. Hubby is better with them. He grabs them, rubs their nose in it, firmly tells them off and banishes them to outside. They know when he means business. I've seen him chase them round the house to catch them! Then of course I get to clean it up (they are technically mine)

Nappisan, or any product for washing nappies removes the smell. It's made for human urine and works on cats as well. Have put the sneakers and bags in the washing machine, on gentle cycle, and it works a treat.

One of our cats will sneak into the laundry room and pee on my husband's clothes, clean or dirty. It really pisses him off, especially since my clothes are untouched.
