Sideburn maintenance
About 18 months ago, I decided to grow my sideburns out. I really like them but I have a heck of a time keeping the hair short. I've been forced into getting a hair cut earlier than I normally would just so I can get my sideburns trimmed.
What i'm looking for is opinions on electric trimmers that could be used for the 'burns. Something relatively inexpensive would be nice. Thanks! -BD |
A basic Wahl electric trimmer should do you just fine. $25 at Wal-Mart. Has an adjustable length cutting edge (0mm to about 6mm) and then attachments for leaving yourhair long (usually for shaving your head).

Or pick up an adjustable beard trimmer. Norelco Accuvac Panasonic cordless trimmer

LoL, I have the same problem!!!
My sideburns are thick.. and I wear glasses, and they like.. you know jutt out. So I'm forced to the stylist every month. But right now. I just dun care.. :) If you need trimming .. just do it yourself with scissors. Anyone can cut sideburns. Easy peasy! :) Good Luck.. |
Sideburn trimmers work really well. Just got the Norelco 9 length adjustable - seems to do the trick.

Cool deal! Thanks all, I will look into those.

The odd time when I am shaving I notice my burns are getting a little to bushy etc etc. All I do it run my razor against the grain close enough to nick the bushiness out of them. Does the trick. But maybe I like mine a little more bushier than most?
Cheers, and side burns rule! |
