Zambia??
I'd like to know if anyone has experience with traveling to Africa, specifically Zambia. I may be going there this summer and I can't seem to find the Lonely Planet guide for Zambia in print (last published in 2002). Thanks for any help!

Been to Kenya, but not Zambia. What are you looking to find out?
Given it's proximity to the Congo, I'd be taking every precaution possbile regarding personal safety.

I'll have 5 days free to wander around southern Zambia and environs (in the middle of 6 weeks in the remote back-country) and am looking for things to see/do. Also, do you think the Congo proximity is a real issue?
Also, how much did your ticket cost? (and to/from where?) Thanks.

Price have skyrocketed since. Now, it was looking like $1500-$1700 into Nairobi.
