Working out after whacking off?
I don't know too much about male orgasms and what they do to the body, but does having an orgasm release a bunch of testosterone into the body?
If so, would it make sense to work out right after whacking off to build more muscle/burn more fat? Thanks |
Why not? I don't see any harm in it. Some people get tired after jerking it but others have a spurt of energy. If you are one of the latter, then I say take advantage.

Hey, why not just kill two birds with one stone and make sure to alternate hands and get your workout WHILE you whack off!

im to tired to whack off after a work out so i normaly do it before if i am going to, but i have found if i cant get to sleep i will have a wee jerk then i can sleep no bother.

That's funny. I feel like whacking off just after coming from the gym... In fact, I would probably do it there if I wouldn't get kicked out. Some of the girls there, oh my!! I have not heard anything about it giving you extra energy. In fact, I feel more tired, not to mention my underwear tends to want to stick to me after whacking off. This is not comfortable when trying to work out.

It doesnt hurt anything really.
I wouldnt have sex or masterbate a couple days before a wrestling tournament because your performance diminishes. Professional Athletes do this as well, I dont know exactly what it does, but you dont get as pumped up. You arent as aggressive.. you really feel too good to perform strenuous feats. So does it hurt you in anyway? If you're just exersising, no. If you're going to run a marathon, might not want to. |
Yes, your body produces a "jolt" of testosterone when you ejaculate, but the amount is so small that I sincerely doubt you'd notice any difference in your lifting, either long term or short term.

we have talked about this and the one kid said he has done it before and it makes him more tired during the work out if he whacks off before lifting

I'm amused to see this topic. Over the years many of my friends have believed in the "no stickin before legs" principle. Which basically means no sex(with our without a partner :-) before training legs.
Whilst it has always been used as humour I'm a BIG believer. It makes me too relaxed. I've even told girlfriends no if I'm training legs that day. You can't do well on heavy squats with empty nuts.. you just can't :-) |
yah, i agree with fluster, high school coaches always told people not to jerk it before game day.
if i do it before i work out, id probably be too tired to be very effective (or at least my right arm). but it is a good forearm exercise, right? |
