Planning a trip to India from US for first time. - Need some help to prepare a list of items to take. I will be in North - Delhi and then move down west to Gujarat. Any tips or pointers are also welcome. Im going through a travel agent to tour most of the places.

When, How long, and what is your daily budget ? Remember, India is an experience. You have to be prepared to take good with the bad etc. I was there past Feburary for about two weeks (this is the best time IMHO, not too hot and no rains)
