I had this problem last semester. I just don't keep any unhealthy foods around. I drink lots of water and chew gum. It was just force of habit to eat stuff that was infront of me or readily available. So just don't buy it....you really don't even need it in the first place.

I totally agree with eating more and smaller meals. When people recommend to eat more 'balanced' meals, that is often interpreted as 'bigger' meals, or people will try to have a large meal so they aren't hungry again later.
I know it's hard to find the time to have a small meal every 3 hours. Try sandwiches, salads, veggies, etc... Doing this, your body has no 'fear' of being starved in the near future, and thus allows the loss of fat (which is your reserve energy in case of starvation). Your body will now be in a state where exercise and proper caloric intake can burn fat (consume less calories than you put out in exercise to do this).
