The Ken Doll Effect....

Ok, so Im not exactly sure what these muscles are called or if their even considered a muscle or just a cut, but you all know what Im talkin about, the cut that runs from the top of the hip down into the mid section creating a " V " like shape. I've had these for as long as I can remember just because I've been a fairly skinny guy all my life. Im starting to pack on a few pounds now and gain some extra muscle. In the process I don't wanna lose this cut because I like the way it looks. My question is....Does anyone know of any good exercises to define this section???? I figured it would probally be somehting like running, squats, or anything to do with the movement and bending of the legs. If anyone has any advice or comments please post, thank you.

hip flexors? maybe try the hip adductor machine or any type of leg raise

Yeah, I'm thinking he means hip flexors and as mentioned above do either leg raises and/or situps to work them.

No, I believe he's talking about his obliques, in which case you should try some side bends, side crunches, and twisting crunches.

Nothing...the V is more of a genetic thing, combined with a low body fat. Keep up the cardio and your body fat down and you'll keep it..

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, much appreciated :)

It's your oblique muscles that create the V. Workouts to enlarge them: http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/Wai...#anchor1944764
