Smelly feet.
One thing I have been concious of lately is that every once in awhile when my feet sweat they start to smell. I was wondering what people did about this, it isnt really that bad and it seems to be coming from the toes, I also notice when I pick my toenails what I get out really reeks. Could this be a fungal infection or anything. What could help I have tried even putting deoderent on my feet but the smell is pretty concentrated so if you get close you are like whoa.

Try washing your feet every time you shower? May help. I wouldnt jump to any fungal conclusions! Maybe try getting some foot stuff. I use this Dr. Scholls Mint foot rub every once and a while, works well IMHO.
Good luck with that. |
It might just be the pair of shoes that you are wearing. I have a these saviers, that after a day of wearing them my feet just stink. In other shoes though, my feet dont even stink. Check the shoes.

You can add a little foot powder if needed, that will help keep your feet dry, and that means less stink.
Also, if you can, change your socks regularly. This will help too. |
Wash your feet once a day. Also, wear socks that are all or nearly all cotton. They wick the moisture off your feet quickly, which seems to stop the smell. When I wore polyester stretch socks, my feet smelled much worse.
Helps also to wear shoes that "breathe" and let air in. Most natural leather ones will, but shoes made with synthetics mainly don't. |
Same here. I just bought some Gold Bond. I only get smelly feet when I wear no socks, but the powder seems to be helping.

Probably not the best advice, but I have always done this. First keep you toenails clipped and clean. Then once a week, I will wash my feet in a bleach solution.
I have never had smelly feet due to this routine. |
I think the best thing you can do to aviod too smeely'a feet is to alternate the shoes you wear. Try every third day or so and give the other shoes time to air out and dry out completely. Also, once the shoes go bad, there's not much you can do to save them, its time to move on to a new pair.

There was a time when my feet would sweat and smell like
ammonia. yeah....pretty bad. dr said it was probably a high level uric acid in my system. I started drinking more water and the problem went away. |
