Montego Bay?
 

Anybody spent any time in Montego Bay, Jamaica? I just booked a four-night trip there, staying at this place, and if anybody has any must-see or must-avoid tips, I'd very much appreciate it.

I do not know of this place - It seems away from the beach - Is that OK with you ?

From what we've read, all you have to do is take an elevator down about 12 floors and cross the street to get to Doctor's Cave beach. Of course I would have loved to have stayed right ON the beach, but I can't afford it.

I have some friends that spent some time there. They didn't care for it too much (felt unsafe) but I'd be interested hearing how your trip went.

I just returned from Spring Break in Jamaica two days ago...I recommend Negril...better place than MoBay. If you do head over to Negril...go to Rick's Cafe for the sunsets. The food is a little expensive but very good.
