Stuff you should do in High School

So, I'm a senior, and it's second semester so it's time to get serious about fucking around and making the most of this time.

Give me your suggestions,
I'll try 'em if they're good. I don't think I have so much to lose, in terms of pride or shame or anything. I don't think that matters now.

Jesus Pimp 03-08-2004 08:35 PM

Do a senior prank. Don't forget about senior cut day. Uh.. get laid...

AfterBurn 03-08-2004 08:49 PM

Definatly get laid, goto graduation, maybe go to the prom, do well and get in a good university.

mulletJeb 03-08-2004 08:51 PM

AfterBurn: I'm shooting for your town actually, McGill.

absorbentishe 03-09-2004 08:08 AM

Keep your senior prank legal though, nothing that you could end up expelled, or suspended for. All I did senior year was drink, play golf and sleep. I passed with B's in everything, don't know how I did it though.

volunteer to help clean the bio labs so you get access to some used up dissected animals ;)
prop them up on ppl's car hoods in the warm/hot summer sun :)

ladyadmin 03-09-2004 11:50 AM

Do any and all the evil little harmless little things you can think of to do. Most important to remember: keep the grades up and never get caught ;)

03-09-2004 11:52 AM

Get your friends' digits and even those who you are interested in getting to know. It doesn't hurt to ask. I know this may sound corny, but if you have a teacher that you really have admired, thank them for the experience. Don't take for granted any moment of your last months there. I know you may want to get out of there, but it is something you may miss later. Have fun, live it up, and enjoy. And go to your prom!!

Crack 03-09-2004 12:22 PM

take a SMALL car apart, and reassemble it on the roof of the school...

stevie667 03-09-2004 01:02 PM

but chain/climbing rope through all the bikes in the bike shed.

we did that, seriously fun to watch the little kids running around screaming at how they're gona get home:lol:

synic213 03-09-2004 03:52 PM

Ask that girl out that you always thought was way out of your league. Strange things happen at the end of High School.

WarWagon 03-09-2004 04:05 PM

Don't know if you're into cars or not, but on the last day I did what everyone had been begging me to do for 2 years. I put on the line lock, and just flooded the parking lot with tire smoke, much to their enjoyment. My cars have always been how people I know identify me, so it only seemed fitting.

1337haxor 03-09-2004 04:25 PM

xx

WarWagon 03-09-2004 04:33 PM

Heh, Lexus wasn't really my style. More along the lines of an 80 Malibu Wagon, black primer, completely gutted, slicks in back and skinnies up front, a hot smallblock and straight pipes that dumped in front of the rear tires.

Also, I'm not sure how old your high school is, but mine was built ages ago, and actually had a system of tunnels beneath it, along with a bunch of boarded up doors and classrooms from the pre-remodeling/relocation days. Me and two other kids who were in an independent study with the coolest fucking teacher ever, convinced the teacher to have the janitor let us down there to look around, and he did! We took pictures because we knew nobody would believe us. I would post pictures, but my friend Andre is the one who took them, honestly. No foolies.

rothman 03-09-2004 04:48 PM

prank: if you have gates/fences around the school's parking lot, bring a couple of your own locks, lock everything up and no one can get out!

2kids1headache 03-10-2004 06:55 AM

If you have cash, go by a big party supply place and buy lots of those balls that go in the ball pits. Fill any confined area you'd like with them.

Easy: Janitor's closet
Medium: Classroom
Hard: Football field

Cycler 03-10-2004 07:13 AM

Don't take things too damn seriously. Relax get the grades in and enjoy life. Because in a short while you are going to really have to start paying, for college, food, etc.

agball 03-10-2004 10:50 AM

Get drunk with your buddies just before graduation ceremony!!

amonkie 03-10-2004 03:43 PM

When I was in Germany this summer, the seniors have a "Lock Out" day where they steal the keys to the school either the night before or in the wee hours of the morning and then barricade the school off, sheets over the fences with slogans and everything. They'll leave only one entrance, and fill it with hazards. When people come to school for class, they won't be able to get in. To get the keys back, different staff members had to do what the seniors asked. Sing a song, do something stupid, etc. Everybody ends up getting the day off. :)

rothman 03-10-2004 05:14 PM

that "lock out day" sounds pretty cool, but how do they manage to steal the keys to the school... most schools im sure have some spare keys and all the janitors have an extra set...

amonkie 03-10-2004 06:24 PM

The school is in a relatively small town, and all the keys are on this HUGE key ring. I'm sure there's probably another set of keys somewhere, but it is a tradition that every senior class follows, so they probably don't look too hard for the spares. :) Everyone has a great time- it was definitely weird to hear all this german talk and then hear one of the teachers break out in Sweet Home Alabama- we could sing along.

MSD 03-15-2004 09:32 PM

Lock-out? Damn, in my town that would get the whole police force there to get us to give back the keys

Stupid modern unibody construction...

Tigress 03-16-2004 07:32 AM

You guys have some funny ideas. I am a senior this year too, and i am hoping to be able to pull of a prank, but, unfortunately, I'm not very sneaky. So, besides pranks, what else would you suggest to do for the last months in HS? Just to make the most of it? (easy pranks would be cool too.) ;)

agball 03-16-2004 07:52 AM

Not to be a buzz kill, but I though TFP was for those over the age of 18? I know when I was a senior we were all 17 years old, unless of course you were left back. Please elaborate.

CinnamonGirl 03-16-2004 08:07 AM

Ag--It depends on when your birthday is...I turned 18 in April, and graduated in May. There were plenty of seniors who didn't turn 18 until after graduation, but at least half our class was 18 for most of senior year.

Tigress 03-16-2004 08:13 AM

I turned 18 in november, no worries.

agball 03-16-2004 08:37 AM

I see "CinnamonGirl" maybe times have changed, but I was actually born one day after you in 1971, and when I graduated I was 17.

Additional I noticed that "mulletJeb" has been a member since Apr 03', how do we figure that one out? Not that I really care too much.

agball 03-16-2004 08:38 AM

Im just in a Chop Busting mood today

Tigress 03-16-2004 08:46 AM

No worries, your concern is understandable. I would be concerned too. I don't know about anyone else, but i'm not offended. Questions are always allowed. That's ok, it's the ungrounded accusations that are offensive. I've seen none of those here, so, everything's cool with me.

Very nice. I vote for this one. Don't leave the place with the "I should have" syndrome, epspecially in relation to this suggestion.

To: The Residents of *RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS OF HOUSE*

I speak on behalf of my client, *PRINCIPALS NAME HERE* of the *SCHOOL NAME HERE*, regarding the property *RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS OF HOUSE*.

As you are no doubt aware, the school has been under a great deal of stress coping with the growth of students over the past 5 years, and it continues, with many new enrolments being accepted every week.

The current facilities do not meet the demands of the staff and students, and due to this, the learning environment the students has deteriorated, as class numbers rise.

After much negotiations with the Minister of Education *MINISTERS NAME HERE* to extent facilities to allow for the additonal staff and students, *SCHOOL NAME HERE* has been awarded a large financial grant to erect 2 new wings, and add to existing buildings.

We would like to invite you to discuss the future of your residence that is *RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS HERE*, and with you're approval, a registered valuation of your residence and property.

You can contact me on *TEACHER WHO YOU REALLY REALLY HATE FACULTY NUMBER*

Regards,

*TEACHERS NAME YOU REALLY REALLY REALLY CANT STAND*
Project Manager - Grounds & Facilities

--------------------------------------------------------

Print on school letterheads, posted out to with the schools logo printed on the envelope.

ahh.. never will i forget... oh the hilarity! the teacher we picked on copped phone calls constantly for 2 weeks. he was ready to explode by the end of it.

note: don't make it publicly known that you're doing this (eg, around the year level), as when we did it, they were ready to kill anyone who even knew about it.

all up, cost us about $50 to do (mainly in postage costs to look legit), but it was worth it. I know a few teachers who still crack up about it today that cannot stand this teacher.

I go there. Or should I say, McSpill.

k1ng 03-17-2004 11:25 PM

Do something fun, but don't stress over it. High school doesnt matter. I barely even remember it. The person that said that high school is suppsed to be the best years of your life was lying ...I hope

No no no, don't ask her out. Take the girl that you have been interested in for those 4 years, and sweep her off her feet. Make her love you like she never knew she could. You'll never forget it, she'll never forget it, and it'll do wonders for your future.

mulletJeb 03-18-2004 07:31 AM

mephex: that's pretty damn romantic
There hasn't really been a girl like that, so I'll take care of the one I am interested in now. ;)

that's sort of the kind of thing that inspired me to ask this question... i'd been avoiding getting into a close relationship till now, and I wonder what I may have missed.. so many girls i would like to get to know better.

It's partly making up for lost time. That's why this is the best time in HS, for me anyway.

mulletJeb 03-18-2004 07:31 AM

Ace: why McSpill?

mulletJeb 03-18-2004 07:33 AM

frozenstellar: fortunately i don't really hate any of my teachers.. that's a smart prank tho.

ag: bust someone else's chops.

Enka 03-18-2004 11:49 PM

try to get with the hottest teacher in the school (theres always that one!)

macmanmike6100 03-20-2004 09:21 AM

don't just get laid...get laid in various areas of the school. would be very good fun and you can continue the practice in college!

celaeno 03-27-2004 10:51 PM

Hah. A friend of mine actually dressed up as a giant chicken and chased another guy who was dressed up as a big pink rabbit around the school--it was videotaped and broadcasted during the lunch hour. However, since he cut class to do it, he got a detention for it. I still gotta give him props for that one.
