Have any of you ever been to Costa Rica?
 

I am in fact Costa Rica, lived here pretty much all of my life and am wondering if anyone here may be Costa Rican or if any of you have ever had the opportunity to make it down here or are planning any trips down here in the near future.

I've never been there, but some friends went there on a surf trip recently.

Before that, I couple of people politiclaly who were from Costa Rica. I am a Libertarian in the US, and Juan Carlos Hidalgo of the Movimiento Libertario visted us. He's quiet a character.

I studied Spanish for 3 years in High School and for two semesters in college. I was thinking about getting a pen pal in Spanish and was thinking about choosing someone from Spain or Costa Rica.

Where in Costa Rica do you live?

never been there planning on going there this coming year.

I live in Heredia, in a small town called Mercedes Norte, we're about 30-45 minutes from San Jose.
