Verified Complaint?
I was wondering, does anyone here know what a Verified Complaint is, does or means? I got a speeding ticket a few weeks ago, and a friend told me that when I goto my hearing, ask for a Verified Complaint, and usually, if it is just a speeding ticket or something small, the court will drastically lower the fine, or even dismiss the ticket due to the amount of manpower, time and money that it takes to complete the process of a Verified Complaint.
I was wondering if by asking for one, if I am forefiting certain rights etc. Also, I searched on google, but got alot of documented cases of specific people that have filed for a Verified Complaint, no real definition or otherwise. Um, I'll keep searching, but I figured I'd ask here as well. Thanks! |
I don't know about where you live, but around here you ask for a Prayer for Judgement Continued, or "PJC". You're allowed one per household every three years, and it basically just makes the ticket go away.
