Dublin, Ireland; been there? like it?
Currently, I am looking to relocate from my home in Georgia to somewhere more....green.
![]() Dublin is a huge tech hub, and there are alot of opportunities for me there, having no kids or mortgage, I think it might be a good experience. Does anyone live there, visit there or have any input on this matter? I am particulary intrested in travel and the expences that go with it. |

Great place. Visited Dublin for a marathon and met my husband there. I think, if I remember correctly, it's pretty expensive to live there. It would be a great experience. The Irish are so laid back and the sights are incredible. Depending on how long you would stay and how much you would make, I'd start with the B&B's there. They are very inexpensive, cozy, and well worth the money.

Ireland at the moment is one of the most expensive places in Europe to live in.As for Dublin I hate the place, dont ask me why , I just could never get to like it.
Galway or Cork, now there are 2 great cities, far more laid back in attitude and lifestyle than Dublin and the people are nicer ![]() Work is getting tougher with alot of companies closing, so dont know how you will fare out that way, but hell come on over and enjoy it here for a while. something will always turn up and you wont starve.

I loved Dublin, I found it easy to get around the city. The bus drivers are friendly (I got lost on the bus, lol) I enjoyed my time in Ireland much more than my time in England. Dublin was cleaner than any of the English cities I visited.
