Hair Mousse
 

Welp, I'm a guy that prefers to use Mousse in my hair rather than Gel. I have no clue how many guys do, I suppose that'd be a poll for another date. I love to use Suave's Mousse, and Herbal Essence isn't to bad either. I have noticed that Pantene Pro-V's just doesn't provide a long lasting freeze as the previous two do. It seems to have much, MUCH more air than it does Mousse. Am I the only thinking this, or has other people noticed this too?

Also, if you can suggest anything that might be better than what I'm using, please go ahead and suggest it. As for hairspray.. I will simply never use it EVER. Everytime there is hairspray in the air I taste it, which btw isn't fun. If anyone picks up a bottle of that stuff, I vacate the room as quick as I can.

I think Suave has a men's line. I'm not sure if that's what you were using...

My friend uses that, I think. And his hair always looks great.

Beats me, all I know is that it works for me. Defines the hair rather then just lays where I want it.;)

Mate, I use this new gel wax stuff.. that's good enough for me... like the wet look too.. used mousse like once when I was lil.. you should see the school photos.. my mum said that if I EVER do that again she'd kill me... so I was conditioned there and then.. I don't touch it and mum doesn't kill me :p

I use some Lush Whip stuff that seems like it might be good with strawberries, and hair spray.

Edit: or a hat.

A buddy of mine just clued me in on his secret for 'stand up anywhere' hair.

Salt water, and hand lotion.

What kinda look ya going for and how stiff? I've had mohawks from up to a foot tall and been ble to keep them up for days, the secret is Knox gel, not hair gel, the Jello gelitine stuff, buy it at any food place.

Wax is great for that too, like Golden said. Your hair'll do pretty much whatever you want, stay there for as long as you want, and you can get whatever "wetness" level of look you want. I would suggest going with the stick, not the tub, though.

Yeah Suave gives a pretty good wetness look to it. I love that too. Its not just frozen.. but it looks fresh.

no, don't need it a foot high, but damn nice! I've always wondered how people got it like that! Sweet :)
