Condition every day?

A friend of mine was telling me how it wasn't healthy for your hair if you condition it every day, but then she said that it may be different for women. As an unfortunate 19 year old guy starting to deal with thinning hair, I'm looking at any way I can keep my hair healthy, so is this true? I've been conditioning my hair every day with a separate conditioner every day, and if this is infact not helping my hair I'd like to stop. Any advice on this would be great, thanks.

i've never used conditioner before, aside for my pubic hair, but i would also like to know the answer to this?

I also would like to know.. I've used a 2 in 1 shampoo for years now.

You can use it everyday if you want, just rinse it out good.

Also, I think your thinning of your hair is genetic. Conditioning may have nothing to do with it.

I think someone made this topic before... I wash my hair everyday with a 2 in 1 and I'm fine.

I'm pretty sure this is just a wives' tale so that you dont waste shampoo and conditioner.
