Christmas Crafts
'Tis the season to be crafty! Share your favorite Christmas crafts here--I'm looking for hands-on ways to decorate my home for the season.
Here's a craft I found in Good Housekeeping that I did yesterday: Pomanders - Free Easy Holiday Crafts - Good Housekeeping Here's a picture of what I did (excuse the mess around it: my husband has been studying for his modern physics final): ![]() It was pretty easy to make the pomanders and I plan on making more for my bowl. Buying the whole cloves in bulk allowed me to buy what I needed for the craft. Be warned: they can be pricey depending on where you buy them.

I started this wreath last year and for some reason, never finished it. I finished it the other night - I'm not particularly good at crafts, but I'm pleased with the results. All it required was a straw wreath, ribbon, and push pins. I twisted 8" pieces of ribbon into figure 8's, stuck a pin through the middle of the 8, and stuck the pin into the wreath. Pretty easy!

Inspired by your wreath, I took the extra cuttings from the bottom of our Christmas tree, trimmed them up a bit, and made them into a wreath using some gold wire ribbon I had hanging around. I'll post a picture of it later, when it's finished--I had to reorganize a closet yesterday in order to find my secret stash of other assorted ribbons, so they've yet to make it on to my wreath.
