I have a cell phone. I bought unlimited text for those no in my network...or I wait until night time to talk to them. And free minutes for those in my network. AIM for international communication.The landline I think, will go the way of the dodo.

We have cells only. Haven't had a landline in years and years.

I did not have a landline for years. I bought my daughter a cell when she was old enough to be home by herself. My girlfriend at the time (now my wife) was the event chair for our local Relay for Life so we got a landline for a fax machine. We have since moved into an area with very spotty cell coverage, so we ended up getting a house phone through our cable provider, and we kept our cell phones. If we got decent cell coverage we would have no home phone.

I have both landline phones and a cell phone. The landline is real cheap as it is bundled with my Comcast video and internet. I strongly prefer having longer conversations using the landline phone as the audio quality is vastly superior compared with cell phones.
