OMG, why??!

I wonder sometimes why people share the things they do. As mentioned in other threads, the Internet seems to make it easy for people to share the mundane things of their day to day life. But why would someone share this...

I'm browsing through Facebook today. A woman I went to school with has her status as:

"So-and-So was taking a bath, relaxing and reading a book when 'my spawn' came in and said 'Momma, I need to pee' 'Ok then go' and he peed on my head."

What?!?!

There are just somethings you shouldn't share, that is one of them.

Share your TMI Internet exchange moments as they arise to entertain others.

One of our friends is from Bulgaria and I dearly love the man. He kills me on a regular basis.
Last night he told us a story.

His fiance is from Ireland and here for awhile. They were driving through the UK for a few days and ate like crap for an extended period of time, little healthy food or water and lots of beer. Apparently, he got constipated and when he finally "went" it was "St. Patrick's Day green!" His fiance tried to explain it was like a little kid who is sick and the bacteria turns things green. I think I turned a little green and then when the phrase "I've never been so thankful for a bad case of diarrhea..." entered the conversation, I was outta there.
There are just some things I don't need to know.
And he posted it.

I just started in Facebook. Within 24 hours, I received an announcement that my sister-in-law had joined the group "keep Brazillian waxing legal in New Jersey". :oogle:

My boss read my Facebook profile and then took me to one side and said he was concerned about my safety and worried than I might harm myself... that was pretty embarassing.

I have this one friend who keeps telling me stories that I really don't need to hear. Like the time she told me that she can't see Cindy Crawford without being creeped out because she had a friend who had a poster of her on his wall. Normally, not unusual, but he apparently had a blacklight in the room and parts of the poster would glow when the light was on. One of those stories I probably didn't need to hear.

See if I ever share anything with you ever again. Wait, you'd like that...I'm going to share even more now. Bwahahahah...:devious:

Strangefamous, that reminds me of a co-worker who approached me on Facebook and said that he was depressed and wanted to kill himself. It was very disturbing since I had only known him for about a month and only spoke to him in passing a couple times a week. I think that was a bit much to drop on a virtual stranger.

Ok, so this is a real life TMI experience instead of internet, but it happened a couple of days ago so it's fresh in my mind.

A coworker called one of our client's businesses and asked to speak to the manager. The employee who answered said "The manager is in the bathroom right now. You could call back in 5, more like 10, minutes." :uhh: I can't help but wonder what else that employee has said over the phone.

All of the TMI stories I hear get buried deep within my subconscious, never to be heard from again.

Grape Kool-aid will do that. You don't want to know how I found out.
