I lost my Mom
Hi all,
I just recently got back from burying my mother. It was totally unexpected. Although she had extremely high blood pressure, I didn't think I'd be getting this call for quite some time. It appears she died from a heart attack or stroke, and we didn't know it for about 6 days. She lived by herself out of town. Anyways, I just want all of you to make sure you always let your loved one's know how much you love them. The toughest part is that I never got a chance to say goodbye to the woman who took care of me as a child, and taught me how to love and care for other people. My mother almost always had a smile on her face, no matter how much she hurt inside. She always treated others with the utmost respect, and made everyone around her develop an upbeat attitude. Thanks for reading and please give me a cyberhug! Thanks, Perripken:) |
Sorry for you loss. Both my parents are dead, dad died when I was young, mom died when I was a bit older, its still difficult to deal with. A big cyberhug for you.

sorry to hear that, sorry that you lost her suddenly.
I try to remember to say "I love you" to those that matter in my life after phone calls and parting ways.... I never did it until 9/12/01.... every since then I do it regularly. |
This is what I love about my TFP family, I only posted this a few seconds ago, and already received hugs from you guys! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! It has been a very difficult time!

hey perri
thanks for sharing such personal information with us. its a truely touching posts, partly because we all will haveto go through the same thing that you have gone through. every one of us. thank you for the reminder. i live on the other side of the world from my parents, and its easy to forget that you have loved ones that you need to tell how you feel about them. |
:HUG!:
You will remember her at her best. My thoughts are with you and your family. |
:Choking HUG!:
Like Cynthetiq I used to also take for granted human contact to the world, my anchors to sanity, never forget her, keep her spirit alive by emulating her qualities and she'll be forever with you. |
I know how you feel. Lost my dad earlier this year. So sorry for your loss.
|
I lost my mom in my early 20's. No matter what anybody says, this is a unique loss for you, and you deal with it how you want.
|
*hugs*

*big cyberhug comin' at ya*
My mom had an aneurysm burst in her head some years ago. Miraculously she survived so she was lucky, and so was I. So I know how you feel. Even so, I was at peace knowing she knew I loved her, even then. I have always been expressive that way. I am sure my loved ones know they are loved by me. I make sure of it regularly. I am sorry for your loss. :hearts: |
Wow. I'm really sorry to hear this. You and your family are in my thoughts.
|
Big hugs for you. I'm really sorry.
|
i'm sorry to hear that :( and a great reminder too... I have a very strained relationship with my mom but if I heard she died I would probably ball my eyes out then feel guilty..
|
((((BIG HUG))))

here's hoping that the hole in you gets easier to bear. it will: time helps, but does not erase. this is the sort of thing that changes you. |
