anyone vegan??

i try to eat vegan foods as much as possible, because it is healthy, i still eat chicken and other non vegan foods sometimes, but i run out of ideas of things to eat. does anyone have any ideas or know of sites w/ good things to eat. anything easy and quick to make?
also, i dont eat soy things really, i read that too much soy could be bad for men. so anything quick and without soy?

Sorry dude, i dont have any ideas for you. But i do have this friend in my soccer team who is a vegan. Nicest, most placid person off the field, turns into a complete mongrel on the pitch. Be careful.

if you're willing to eat tuna, you can get those tuna lunch package dealies. they're a small can of tuna, some mayo and pickle relish, and crackers.

If you like Indian food theres alot of stuff you can make with chickpeas/lentils and chickpea/lentil paste. I've been too a few vegan only indian restaurants and they were good, much better then the Oriental vegan restaurants that try and make ginger beef without meat wtf.

that's rough. soy is a pretty major source of protien in the vegan diet. I know... I've been vegan for three or four years now. There's tempeh, which is a fermented rice patty which sound really horrible but is quite good. Cut into strips, goes quite nicely in stir fries, etc. If you're in the UK you can get Quorn, which isn't vegan in the states but is elsewhere. I've gotten some good recipes from that Vegweb place, too. best of luck

Yeah, buy a vegan cookbook, (or go to Barnes and Noble and read one for free :))
