Goodbye 2006, Hello 2007!
 

So, let's share experiences, what have you done during yesterday's (December 31) night?

started my new year with a fire alarm at 6:00 am, hooray for new roommates cooking breakfast at a god awful hour in the morning!

i was at home. just looking the "war" through my window.
after this, i continued playing pro evolution soccer 6 xD

Ok, me now...

I ate a lot, drunk a lot (fortunately, or unfortunately, I have a something in my liver that prevents me from getting drunk...), and danced a lot with my girl. It was a neat party somehow like that of marriages, with some band playing and all...

We went to the in-laws across the lake and ate and drank and played games. I think a good time was had by all. Happy New Year!

pot luck dinner with friends. some games, some champagne at midnight and then some poker.

I ate my ice cream, watched some nonsense on the news, read a little, turned off the light and fell asleep before 11-p.m.

Pan and I went bowling. Bowled 10 games, had a fabulous dinner, came home had a glass of wine then went to bed. :D

I flew home to Singapore. Somewhere over the arctic, the pilot announced that it was midnight in Toronto (where we were flying from).

I did have a glass of champagne in the lounge during my layover in Hong Kong.

You can't beat this kind of excitement. :|

I curled up with a book on cosmology and a bottle of Dewar's. Nothing too fancy...or exciting :|

We had a family night of eating and drinking. Fun appetizers for the whole family, drinks for my husband and myself. Kids in bed by 12:30. Happy New Year sex after that. :D

hung out at a friend's place, drank and played beer pong, and before you know it, it was 11:45. unfortunately i was without a date as my significant other was out of town. not really fun literally being the only one at a party not making out at 12:01 am.

I uhhhh, errrr, ummmm.....I was in bed. With a very good friend. :)

Now that's how to bring in the New Year. :thumbsup:

Me? I spent the evening playing dominoes at my sister in law's house. Yup...dominoes. She's a t-totaling born again, so nothing stronger than Pepsi was to be had. :(

Next year...I'm going to the retirement home for some real New Years excitement.:rolleyes:

I had a great dinner at a friend's house with a group of mutual friends, watched the fireworks from my friend's balcony and drank champagne, we also banged some pots with wooden spoons around the street (it's a tradition here to ward off evil spirits :p), then had plans to go dancing but got pretty ill and had to go home to bed...but I had a good night anyway. Now all I need is my voice back!

Went bowling with the family.
Watched 2 Star Wars movies with my oldest sons & wife.
Saw the ball drop in NYC on TV at midnight.
Kissed my wife and oldest son.
Went to bed.

I went to a house full of Greeks. It was fun :) My four favorite people in the world were there. When midnight struck we (with the exception of my boyfriend) all broke down and sobbed. And I wasn't even drunk, lol. For the three of us 2006 was an extremely emotional year for many different reasons.
