The TFP Time Capsule 2006
 

The concept is simple. Post two sentences you'd like to place in a hypothetical time capsule to be opened in 20 or 30 or 50 years.

Each should be an observation or opinion about the world we live in today. One of them should be something you think will still be true when the time capsule is opened; one should be something you think will be quaint, outdated or incomprehensible. (You don't have to say which is which; guessing is part of the fun).



Here's mine:

Gay marriage is an important issue to many people and in most states the majority is against it.

Reality TV shows dominate primetime television.

I would also like to exclaim further my dedication to the west coast of the US in general by proclaiming that I prefer the western side of the continent"
