I'm curious... perhaps you've mentioned it before, but what time are you going in for surgery? I want to know so I can throw some confetti when you go in and think happy thoughts for you when you're there :)

We're ALL really proud of you and happy that you're doing this! It sounds like it's going to make your quality of life even better!

The procedure is scheduled for 11 am (start pre-op meds at 10) and should last roughly 2 1/2 hours.

Im home and drugged nicely.....and I didnt throw up when I was in recovery woohoo

I am SOOOOO happy, and my shoulders dont hurt either



lol well sleep hasnt happened yet....Im bleeding (its an ok kind of bleeding though) and I soaked all the bandages and I just couldnt stand it. Got the dr on the phone (he gave me his HOME number, can you believe that?) and he said it wasnt abnormal to bleed like I am. my ex mil came over (she's a nurse) and changed all my bandages for me and brought manda so she could see me. Have I mentioned that even though she's an EX MIL she's the greatest? She was quite impressed with how the incisions looked.

He did a semi anchor lol I have the incision around the nipple and one underneadth, I dont have the one that runs from the nipple straight down.

When I talked to the PS on the phone I asked if it were normal for my nipples to hurt to be touched...he said thats a VERY good sign if I have feeling already. Oh and did I mention he said I could put my nipple rings back in now!! I dont have to have them repierced hehehehe

They are def square but gosh they look fantastic (I said that didnt I lol blame the pain pills)

RE pictures: not for me, thanks--I don't do so well with recent incision sites. Once you're healed up a little, though, hell yeah!

Honey, it sounds like all went well and you will be quickly on the way to recovery. I am envious of those happy pills you are taking. :D

Rest well, and leave the nipple rings alone for a few days, 'k?:icare:

We are all so happy for you (and Dave)....I was amazed to see you lucid & posting already, too. You're healing fast. That IS great to hear.

ps - I can hardly wait to get mine done. It won't be for a while, due to insurance and new jobs and lack of ready cash

what a great transformation! I bet you have shoulder grooves from your old bra straps, I can barely imagine the back and shoulder pain. Looks like you are a good and proportional size now. I hope you heal quickly! :D

the last few days have been rough...I finally weened myself off the narcotics since they were making me feel worse than the pain itself. Im just in extreme discomfort now, but I'd rather feel that way than drugged.

I have slept a LOT the last 3 days, hopefully thats going to stop soon, my back is killing me from being in the bed so much

I had my 1st post op this morning, he walked in and I flashed him telling him how I couldnt be happier with how I looked. His mouth dropped open and he was like "wow, those look fantastic, and Im not saying that because I did the work" hehehehe

he told me I looked far beyond 6 days out

drains are out thank god, its amazing how restricted having those make you feel.

Im cleared for sex in a week, showers anytime I want, NO more bandages and he ordered Dave to rub my nipples several times a day to get them to desensitize some lol he loves that idea

oh gosh I feel so free with no tubes!!!!!!!!

Im actually I lot better, my brain seems to actually be functioning now lol

I go back to work tomorrow and I think Im ready. My sleeping is still all messed up, my brain just doesnt want to ever shut off.

I was thinking about you today, too. How are you doing? Your new breasts (pics from 11-19) look wonderful and I am hoping that all the tenderness has gone away. Are you back to sleeping soundly once more? Just think, you'll be starting a new year with a whole new body!

Time for a boob update!

Im doing great, all the hardness is gone and they feel like real boobs again and they jiggle just the right amount. I am having a few nites here and there where Idont have to take anything to sleep so I see light at the end of the tunnel on that one lol

congrats on the operation, my sister was planning to have this done, I'll have to send her this thread to read. Being raised by a mother who never stopped complaining about her breast size and all the pain it caused her, I can completely understand your decision and I'm happy for you that you have the guts to go through with this unpleasant procedure!
