actually, I noticed some differences in my last post. I have two powerful dogs now. (the other two passed :( ) I had plenty of experience with the breed before I even began to consider what the "replacement" dogs would be. I now have two fully vetted and trained GSD's and they are wonderful. Sadly, though, most people think that they will be attacked if they come over. Well they might be if they tried to go in the house when nobody was there, but I have them trained in such a way that if I am present when they are present, the dogs treat them just like they would me.
Does my insurance company know? I have no idea .. I've never told them, but they've never asked either. |
Then you've got no problem. If they want to know, they'll ask. Just be sure that they've NEVER asked, and you don't have a problem.

They've never directly asked and I'm quite certain it's not on any of the forms..I'll check it next time it comes in ;) |
we finally made a ruling on our "service dogs" that they must be in compliance with NYC laws, both shots and registration. We are also requiring proof of insurance. We can fine for nuisance and also evict dog for being a nuisance.
