Cigarette burns in cars.

Does anybody know any good ways to fix cigarette burn in car seat fabric? Any good way to make it look good?

Anybody know if I brought it into the shop if they'd have to replace the whole cover, or can they fix things like that. I wonder what the price would be on either of the two.

Well.. thanks in advance.

I too have 2 burn holes in the back seat of my new ride. I'm not a smoker and I said there would be NO smoking in my new car however I gave permission 1 time and that's all it took to aquire 2 new burn holes. dammit.

I have been looking at seat covers but I can't find a back seat cover to match.

Anyone with suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If the burns are near a seam or crease in the seat, you are in luck. Any decent upholstery shop would remove the cover, refold the existing fabric over the burn mark, and put it back together. When I had this done for a cigarette burn (which was pretty bad), it cost me $35. Good luck.

Crazy

i just recently bought a car and there was a burn hole in the driver seat, the dealer fixed it pretty much perfectly by putting some fabric under the whole and it lined up perfectly and it looks like new, the only thing is that u can feel the fabric underneath with your hands, no biggie. I don't really care about it cause i'm going to be putting in racing seats once i get a racing engine and other goodies in it....

if you go to just about any auto shop (ie autozone, napa, anything like that) they should have a repair kit. my wife and i just got back from a trip out of town and had a cig burn in the back seat. the kit cost about $5 and it took about 5 min to fix. very easy

I second the repair kit idea, they come specialized for the type of interior in your car like Vinyl, Leather, Cloth, etc...
