Stenciling

I did not know where else to ask this.

I am going to be doing some stenciling on my bathroom door, and am looking for a website with free printable stencils. I cannot find a website like this. Does anyone else have any luck with this?

Did you try Googling it? I just did and plenty of results came up. Click here and, when in doubt, ask Google. http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...q=free+stencil

I did, but unfortunatley, most of what I can find is sites with links to sites that don't work.

Your in luck... My wife is one of the best stencilers I've seen. She does quite a bit of it so if you want I could ask her to contact you and maybe she could give you some pointers. I'll ask her tonight if she know of any free ones. What kind of stencil do you need? She has tons of them but most have kind of a victorian theme...

Free, pritable stencils? If I understand what you are asking for, you would still have to cut out the design once you printed it. Why not search for the design you want, enlarge, print, then get to cutting?

What material are you going to use for the stencil? If you use paper, paint it several times first so it will bulk up and become less fragile. If you want a very durable stencil, use a piece of clear mylar (available at many stores that cater to airbrush users).

Cut your design using an X-acto knife that has a swivel blade. (the blade actually turns as you cut a curve). This will give you nice, smooth curves.

What size stencil are you planning on using?
