Deflating a ball for storage
Is there a relatively quick way to deflate a ball (say a football or basketball) for easy storage? I'm going on a trip where I'm only going to bring a decent sized bag, and I would like to take a football or something with me.

Use the inflator adapter that you use to fill them to drain them. Simply don't connect the adapter to the pump and push it into the inflation hole. You can then squeeze all the air out.

Good thinking, because if your trip requires a plane ride, the ball will probably have to be deflated or they won't let you take it.
I had to do this when I was leaving the U.S. to go on an International flight, and I would think domestic flights would have that same stipulation. |
I've always just put a knife in the bastards. Makes them hard to re-inflate, but oh well.. :) :) ;)
