elevator phobia

any one know the real name of this phobia?

i did a quick google but to no avail.

ps not the fear of small enclosed spaces but the fear of its malfunction.

claustrophobia the fear of small enclosed places is due to the fear of its malfunction like it's going to collapse or something. so it's simply claustrophobia.

That's not necessarily true. Some people are claustrophobic because they fear they won't be able to move or escape once inside.
