I don't know which is older, but, there's a Taiwanese clip which is much funnier. Here's a link; if it goes down, you can search google for clothes.wmv. They even show you in slow motion and they compare times with the "regular" method of folding.

That's neat, but It doesn't seem as perfect when I try it on my XXL shirts here. Still too wide. Have to fold them in half. Bleh.
