Ooblick
 

Behold the latest and greatest invention of modern man! Amazing audiences and dumbfounding physicists, this "non-Newtonian" substance seems to go counter to everything we know about the unversal laws of matter! Slowly press your hand into it, and the ooblick will part before you like water. On the other hand, punch it, and the ooblick will become rock hard, sometimes even fracturing momentarily before returning to its normal state. The more force you apply, the harder it gets!

Just mix these ingredients:

• 1 cup cornstarch
• 1 cup baking soda
• 3/4 cup water

Try it!

you can do the same with custard powder and milk.

as a kid we called it "snappy custard"
