My house is just ready to move into. I have to get an alarm fitted, but do not know much about the types you can get.
Am just looking to see what peoples advice are on what type and options are out there.
One advantage is my house is right beside the local cop shop

Well you are sure to be busted into then.

The crack heads in Toronto have a laugh and go sit on the bench outside the copshop at 12 divsion and smoke up.

I have a hard wired alarm system from ADT which is monitored. The doors are all pinned and there are motion sensors in the basement and upstairs. I also have a wireless smoke detector that is monitored

I like the hard wired vairety because they are very inconspicuous. There are no big sending units on the doors, or windows. All you see is a little white dot in the door sill about the size of a dime. Very neat and clean
