Gas logs repair

I have a set of Rasmussen gas logs that keep going out. There seems to be no interuption of gas flow, but it pops off after about ninety seconds whether they're on high or I just have the pilot light going. Is there anyone familiar with this stuff? Or does anyone have any ideas?

It's a totally manual operation, I have all the valves on, and it works perfectly for that short time.

I had this problem once and had to replace the pilot light assembly. It just wouldn't stay lit/open.

That would be my first try.

But I didn't feel comfortable working with gas, so I had the local utility company do the work (yeah, they will do that here for $).
