Picture Downloading - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I know for a fact there ahve been a few posts on this before but I'm looking for a way to download a lot of pictures by taking the whole directory and what not. I used to have a program then I formatted and can't remember what the crap it was.

Thanks in advance and also I did search through teh forums but couldn't find anything.

I use wget.

Edit the topic post and hit the Delete Now button.

I'm not sure if this works if you're not a moderator, but it is worth a try.

(no affiliation, etc. - just LOVE his stuff)
Use his "quadsucker web" AWESOME!

He has the BEST newsgroup robot downloader, sbnews - simply increadible. Every day it has thousands of photos for me to look through, just waiting for me. THen you use his viewer to look through them lickety split and pop them into your category directories on the fly.

quadsucker web is pretty cool though...

Does anyone know the best way to rename files downloaded from hosting sites like imagevenue to remove the leading characters so that they sort correctly?

There's a bit of a learning curve, but it works very well. Lots of useful options.
