WTB: Astronaut Helmet
I need a good, adult-sized replica astronaut helmet for devious purposes.
Searches on the Google! and Ask.com revealed mediocre products. Where does one buy such fabulous headgear? |

I'd search for cosmonaut headgear. You're much more likely to find it. I saw it in a catalog 4 or 5 years ago, but I think that company's out of business now. Find someone who specializes in importing odd things from Russia.

$250 one looks the best, but I couldn't justify that to my inner scrooge.
RANDOMLY: I typed in "BUY COSMONAUT HELMET" in the search engine and initially got pictures of women in thong underwear and packages of raw ground beef. Conclusion? Damn Cosmonauts musta had it pretty good! PAR-TAY. |

You could probably make your own... buy a round plastic fish bowl, cut it to look like the $250 one and attach white fabric on the back. The largest bowl i can find is 1 1/2 gallons, though. Is that large enough for an adult head?

Purpose: Outerspace bondage! (j/k) Nah, I was thinking about using it as a cool prop for my apartment. Replace the front-door-wall-mounted-burglar-beware light with a halogen bulb, plastic skull, and this helmet, securing it all with lacing wiring. I'm a weirdo. |
