Paint Rubber

I am not sure if this is possible, but I bought quite a few innertubes from tractor tires to float down the river on on lazy days, and would like to paint them so they have more character than just black innertubes. Is there anything that would not peel during inflating/deflating or that won't wash away in the water?

Hah, hah!!!! I read the title all wrong. I thought you meant rubbing paint, not the other way around.

Oh, and I have no idea. Maybe a tattoo?

Kurty, found just what your looking for product wise but probably not budget wise,

http://www.parasolinc.com/Products.a...tID=RUBBERBOND

This one is not cheap but more reasonable,

http://www.ipaint.us/poshchrupopa1.html

Also try Krylon Fusion Paint for Plastic.

Good luck!

edit: just read Krylon cracks off rubber!

This was a cool source. I've wanted to paint my windows to better match a new paint job on the house and one of their products handles that task. Awesome!!
