| Insane Location: Memphis Area | I don't say its TV's fault....IMHO, if people were gonna mess up, then they were gonna mess up....Stupid people still commit stupid crimes and get caught...But, sadly enough, the population is getting smarter... I'll admit though, I've watched CSI multiple times, and I could have never told you that bleach kills DNA... -Will

| Junkie Location: In the middle of the desert. | TV is a convenient scapgoat for a host of ills, from bullying to murder. Haven't really seen any serious statistical evidence supporting it, however.

| Lover - Protector - Teacher Location: Seattle, WA | That's an absolute jabberwocky substitution. Twenty years ago, we didn't have the forensic technology to test what we can test now. Likewise, twenty years ago, criminals didn't worry about it. As technological security advances, so will technological avoidance of security. DUH! (It has nothing to do with CSI)

| Observant Ruminant Location: Rich Wannabe Hippie Town | I don't know whether it's a serious problem, but criminals have been getting ideas from TV for years. I remember reading an article, oh 35 years back, about criminals who lifted ideas from the original "Mission: Impossible!" TV series to carry out break-ins and safecrackings. And sometimes, it worked. |
