Not quite funny but here is my list of 10 most annoying phrases/words that are always used repeatedly in a sentence

and here they are all used in one sentence

I mean if I were trying to write like a sentence that would like totally make like sense man, dude I would write using proper English if you get what I’m saying its totally uhm... you know what I mean, like yea.

Doesn’t it annoy you it bugs the hell out of me sometimes, one day actually listen to someone speaking and count how many times they use one of those words, it boggles the mind to think that there are some half a million words and word forms in the English language and people form sentences repeating the same thing over and over (pun) again.


* i didn't include uhm because it isn't really a word but it stills annoys me numbers 7&6 5&4 and 3&2 are basically the same thing but the list i believe is accurate in that order

Add Bro to that list. I don't think anything possibly annoys me more than when people say "bro".

Like totally dude I know what you mean.

Me and my dad always insert "uhh" in between almost every word when we are talking out loud. Unless we are really comfortable with the person we're talking to.

"so uhh, what uhh seems to uhh be the uhh problem here?"
"uhh, right, uhhmm, well, uhh, I guess that uhh you could uhh..."

If been know to annoy myself with this habit... Dang you dad...

Spoken: I hate people who say "um" instead of just pausing after a sentence.

I once counted the occurrences of "like" in the speech
of a young woman seated behind me on the bus. Over
a five-minute span, she averaged one "like" every six
seconds.

Like, I'm like totally like not like kidding. She like really did.
