Comedy Release................ political version

Hope the Mods can leave this open.

This is NOT to be a flamefest or a troll so please people don't ruin it.

I was thinking things in here are too serious and people need to lighten up a bit.

So here is my challenge. Name a time you have seen a political official screw up or do something totally off the wall that made you laugh. Hell it could be a law that makes no sense. Not because he was from an opposing party or because you hated him/her but it was just funny.

Example: Ford's constant falling down stairs as President. (Which was parodied very well on SNL by Chevy Chase.)

Hopefully, we can get some laughs here and rest our swords for a minute or two.

A transcript doesn't do it full justice.
You need to see the Daily Show's hilarious take on it

When Jimmy Carter-((some of you may not remember this))- was attacked by a killer rabbit as he was fly-fishing somewhere down south.
This rabbit apparently actually SWAM straight towards Carter as his secret security guards stood by, horrified by what was taking place. The then President succeeded in fending off the cwazy wabbit with a boat oar...

I shit you not. This sounds like some kind of urban legend but it's 100% true.
if you don't believe me why don't you exersize your google muscle.

Okay...I flexed it for ya!!!!
cwazy wabbit

Now that rabbit thing is funny, poor Jimmy. Wonder if that is where the Monty Python gang came up with "the killer rabbit with very sharp pointed teeth" in the movie the Holy Grail?"

You guys are doing great at keeping it nonpartisan.

When Howard Dean went apeshit yelling like a Banshee, and blew his chances that made me laugh.

On a Canadian note when Jean Chretien chocked the shit out of the protester who tried to get a little too close to him, Who needs the JTF-2 for protection not Mr. Chretien, I bet Paul Martin doesn't have the cajoles to pull that off

Nancy Reagan doing a double half gainer backwards off of a chair on a stage while some stiff was giving a speech. Anyone who can dig that gem up with laugh hard.
