Mostly because I never understood what the fuck they were actually saying anyway..

I wasn't even laughing at the song. Didn't realise that was the funny part of the first one.

I thought that the ruins were meant to look like two arms giving the finger, with the church in the background being the head.

Or did everyone see that and it was an extra to the song? (11 seconds in)
