Funny, but they actually don't look all that similar. Compare just the noses, or just the eyes, or just the lips, etc. between the two when they morph and you'll see I mean. I'm guessing you could get Mad to look like anyone. Pretty good transition though.

I think it's the overall face. The hair and the ears especially.
