New Wii
I won a Wii this week at a conference. My finance is really excited and wants to keep it. I was wondering what good multi-player games there are out there that my finance would likely like (that takes out FPS or other violent games). Wii sports come with it and will hold us over for a bit. Then I was looking at Mario Kart and possibly Super Smash Brothers Brawl when they come out. Anyone have any suggestions on good games that a lady would like and would still be fun for myself?
Thanks |

I dont think there are any games for the Wii that an inexperienced player wouldn't like. Maybe Call of Duty. The rest are aimed particularly at her demographic.

My recommendations for multiplayer games are Mario Party and Big Brain Academy. Both of these are loads of fun. I really enjoy them when you have 4 people playing. Two people is just as much fun though.
Wii Play is also pretty cool, since you get an extra controller with that game. Some of the mini games on there kind of suck, but the shooting one and the pool game are cool

I have a Wii, am female, and play games with my SO from time to time. We have a Gamefly account and rent a couple games a week or so. My perennial favorite is Wii Sports. Wii Play also has some good multiplayer games. Mario Party is fun but it takes so long to get through all the animations that it's not worth it in two player. Mario Strikers Charged is a lot of fun. My favorite so far is Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution because 1) I love Naruto, and 2) it's a great straightforward fighting game that I'm pretty good at. Oh, and Medal of Honor is a fun FPS.
The thing I love about Gamefly is that I can keep the games I really like for cheap. We've kept Medal of Honor, SSX Blur, and I'm probably going to keep Naruto. We've bought Wii Play, Mario Party 8, and Mario Strikers Charged on our own. I'm getting Super Mario Galaxy next. I'll let you know how that goes. It's Lego Star Wars after that.

She loves the cartoon type games. Which is why i'm thinking about getting mario kart when it comes out. I'm also thinking smash bros might be good but I don't think she will like competitive fighting games much. |

We also have excite truck and big brain academy for multi player, but both of those kindof got a little boring for me. The kids like them, though. |
