Flatout, setting up a controller.
 

Hi all. I just bought Flat Out for the PC and it's ok with the keyboard, but how do you set up a game pad? The useless readme says go to options, but as the game is obviously a port of the console version, the menus suck many tons of ass. Thanks for any help.

Just saw this thread. I'm assuming that you already have the gampad installed on PC and your issue is with the game not detecting it?

Correct. But since this is a port from a console game, the menus are wiggy. I can't find a controller setup.

The first thing I'd do is make sure you have all the latest patches for your game and then drivers for your gamepad. If you already did and you can't find a menu to autocalibrate you might have an unsupported gamepad :(

Mine worked with the gamepad, but I couldn't figure out how to re-bind the buttons. Really weird. I'm going to try assigning buttons to keyboard keys in my gamepad software.
