Wasn't State of Emergency a Rockstar title? I guess they can't all be good. This looks like what SoE wanted to be. But this one trailer isn't a whole lot to go on.

odd pick to make a game from, but i guess no more so than Scarface. Great flic though.

It has a New-Narc look to it, which is not good at all. But if this does actually pan out, I'd be more than happy to check it out. Hoping for no exclusivity at least!

Reminds me of an old 80's movie where all the gangs got rounded up to fight it out but instead they danced it out.

Looks interesting, to say the least. It definitely looks like my kind of game from the trailer, but we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.

It's based on this movie. Only one of the greatest movies of all time.

I hope they don't base it FULLY on the movie. I mean, yeah, the storyline should coincide, but you shouldn't have to stay on a linear path while trying to get from one side of town to the other. They should include sections, levels, or at least modes where you can just walk around, interact, and kick ass.

I can guess right now that the cheapest enemies are gonna be the guys on roller-skates. I dunno, but something just tells me that.

I'm guessing the easiest would be The Orphans. They are the ones in purple shirts that weren't invited to the meeting because they were too much of a pussy.

Look like another GTA game with a different name... I will stick with my Midnight Club 3:D

What's with the new trend in making games of old movies?

There's been nothing original coming out of Hollywood in years. The film companies are digging deep into their license vaults to find items to which they already own the rights to.

I always thought that game companies and movie companies would be a match made in heaven, giving games a more cinematic feel. It doesn't really seem to have panned out that way. Instead we get the good game content from game companies and the movie tie-ins are usually a bust, often running games out the door to make a film's release date. (not always though)

Should seem interesting however I doubt that there'll be free roaming throughout the city.. which would've been awesome.
