I remember in high school when I used to play Duke Nukem 3d over the modem with my friends. Oh the many different strategies you could use with those trip laser mines, freeze guns, and shrinking rays.
Then I went to college and my roommate had a N64 and Goldeneye (supposedly the best first-person shooter the consoles had at the time). I played it for a few seconds and was bewildered by the fact that I could see where my opponents were at all times. And what the heck was this radar crap? Where was the strategy? That's when I knew that consoles were inferior. |
for me - its 100% PC - the Mouse/Keyboard setup is so much better than the controller and most of the games u can edit - on consol - u can't - I'm all for the PC

i used to be 100% console games, but now i'm starting to realize how great pc games are.

Pc is supreem, but im a fan of the ps2 controller, thats why i have a ps2 to usb gamepad port from radioshack for 10 dollars.

PC, but those damn system requirements
|
PC all the way...
all options and stuff can be changed/ mod'ed more maps and such can easily be made or acquired and added and overall simplicity and dont forget that to play a PC game, u can just minimize TFP and open up a game... for a console, uve got to go downstairs to the damn TV |
For FPS or adventure games I prefer the PC for the use of the mouse and keyboard combo.
For RPG's and fighting games that don't require me to aim or mouseover/search for clues, console works great. So it really all depends on the game... |
Simply asking me to pick between console and my pc is blasphemy.
In my mind, its whichever has the best games. I think time spent on either has balanced out. |
Multiplatform is the only way to go. I own a bad ass PC, PS2, X-box, and a gamecube.
