Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
I'm a FF Fanboy, flat out. But I haven't tried Crystal Chronicles yet, mostly because I don't have a GameCube. I do, however, have a GBA/SP, and a good friend of mine also has an GBA/SP and a 'Cube. Has anyone full out tried playing FF:CC with friends using their GBA's? Whats the opinion on it? Thanks

I could do with asking the same question.
Although I am sure Four Swords is supposed to be miles better at the whole link up thing |
my lil brother has it and we had lots of fun with it.....
i find it to be a really cool game though i think they could of done a bit better with the whold link up thing and yes..... rubenbaraja is right.. four swords uses the link up much more and better than ff:cc |
I liked FF:CC... my girlfriend and I played through the game and had a blast. One neat thing is that when you are wandering around towns, and one of you goes to a merchant the merchant screen shows up on the gameboy, not the TV. I think it was best with 2 players... we played it a few times with 3 or 4 and it just got either too crazy with so much happening or too easy. Either way, it's all sorts of fun trying to get the combos off.

I played it for a while (rented it) with some friends. I loved it except for one little thing: THAT DAMN CHALICE!
It was so annoying having to carry that thing around everywhere. So annoying, in fact, it made me not want to play the game again. |

Yeah, I played this game with one other person with a GBA and I hated it. Between constant cut scenes with endless dialogue, slow travel, redundant gameplay and one of us having to carry the cup around, I had trouble playing this game for a second time.

I have four swords and CC. The person holding the chalice is at a disadvantage when fighting enemies, and you always need someone holding that damn thing. Getting combos down is pretty hard to coordinate, but necessary for some of the bigger enemies. When I played it with my friend, I was incredibly irritated.
Four swords is fun if you can get 4 people to play, otherwise, you get a gimpy Link following you around. It's much more mission based, so you can play in short installments. I would like to see more games with GBA/Gamecube linkups. It's a great idea, and not nearly used enough. |
With the DS arriving it will probably used even less
