Lockout edition?
Now with the official cancellation of the NHL 2004-2005 season, what do you think EA will do for the NHL franchise game that they usually put out each year?
Will they do a lockout edition where you get to be either Goodenow or Bettman and try and reach a conclusion? Or will they just put out another game, just without worrying about the previous seasons stats? I've been a fan of this series of games for years, and it'll be interesting to see what approach they take to the lockout.

Like Rock'em Sock'em Hockey, they Bettman and Goodenow would have little health bars above their heads and kids could participate in a Mortal Kombat style game.
If goodenow wins, the game goes to level 2, where all the players go to vegas and blow their 49 million per team... If Bettman wins, level 2 is a side-scroller where players must navigate enraged fans and overpriced vendors to get to the dressing room. EA Sports.... Its in the game. |

If goodenow wins the ending sequence is most of the media and owners in interviews trashing the players talking about greedy they are and saying they're going to 'go broke' despite their $200 million franchise worth.
if bettman wins your console of choice explodes because anymore time with that guy at the helm is bound to lead to catasrophy.
