hey all, new to the board.

just posting to let you all know about the stargate game being produced in australia. it looks awesome.

ive been a fan of the show for ages, so it will be exciting to get the chance to run around and blast some jaffa :D

If this can do justice to the show, it will be unspeakably, amazingly good. Imagine running around blasting a jaffa staff weapon. Or a Zat gun.

I think I've gotten a little too excited, I'm just going to limp off to the bathroom...

I'm just so glad there not takeing it the way of Star Wars Galaxies and makeing it an MMORPG. Single player with multi player is just great. The screen shots of the backgrounds look amazing. Got it bookmarked for future updates.

My girlfriend got me into watching the Stargate Atlantis series, but I haven't seen any of the original series. Maybe this game is what I've needed to get me into it :)

In the descriptions about the jaffa it seems to have alot of emphasis on snipering, which I don't mind.. heh :D

Just noticed it's being done by JoWood, the only other games I've played by them have been Neighbours from Hell 1 & 2 Great game that was too :D

well, its being PUBLISHED by jowood, so they have nothing to do with actually CREATING the game, thats the sole domain of Perception, an aussie company. the ne trailer is available on the official web site, and it looks rawkin'.

Hmm..in the show itself, it's almost as if the Jaffa is always sniping people from a distance.

Fan of the shows, trailer looks great, but then most trailers do. Will be quite interesting to see how it turns out.
