Punisher...Do it, Do it!!
 

I can't believe no one has posted on this game yet!! I picked it up the other day and I haven't put it down. For all of you who like Hitman and Red Dead, you will love this game. It is so well done and it has real guns for those of you who are into that sort of thing. The graphics and gameplay are right on, and with the incredibley sensless violence that anybody who would buy the game in the first place craves. Get this game, you will enjoy it.

My only problem is that the game sets up all these great interrogation/torture scenarios, but then punishes (no pun intended) you if you go ahead and kill the guy in that manner, whether or not the guy had info to give or not. Its a big point deduction which makes it harder to gain all the extras available in the game.

This sounds good, the said feature anyway. But beneath it all just an average action game really. Still some fun to be had though.

I have the old 1993 side scrolling beat em up, which features skin tight lycra, and a deeply homoerotic two player mode...

I personally love this game. There are glitches in certain parts, and it's unrealistic in that it's almost impossible for you to get killed, but my goodness...all the different ways you can kill people! I mean, WOW! My favorite part so far is Spoiler: when you're hiding in the casket at the funeral home and bust out, shooting all the mob family with your machine gun. My favorite quick kill is Spoiler: when you toss your gun into your enemy's hands, pull out your knife, and stab him in the face. The knife through the top of the head is a quick second. But yeah, the whole deducting style points for killing someone during an interrogation kinda sucks. I mean you're The Punisher! You're supposed to kill all the bad guys, whether or not they help you.
The storyline needs a bit of work. I already tire of the whole "save the world" thing. My favorite Punisher comics were when he would just walk in and clear out a room full of drug dealers and pimps just for the sole reason that they're drug dealers and pimps. They weren't run by some secret military force that was trying to take over the world.

Me and my roomate BigGov loved this game. We beat it on the hardest difficulty, and that made it soo much better. Punisher mode is the best. My roomate also had found that hack they were working on to let u view the executions in full graphic nature, in other words...no turning away, and no black and white.

Is there an XBOX version of that hack, and if so, how would I go about obtaining it?

man, i played the demo, and it sucked balls. big hairy balls.

boring gameplay, uninspired ai, repetetive level design. bad camera and even worse controls.

Might have to get this if it goes real cheap.

I expected it to get totally crap reviews but some have been positive

yea, i downloaded the demo and maybe because it lagged, but i didnt like it exept for the final ancient aztec special kill nad the beginning special interrogation with the pirhannas.

Big bump I know, but I just got hold of this, and I fucking love it. So far it's basically a completely faithful recreation of the comic, which is unsurprising given that Garth Ennis is behind part of the story. If only the film had been like this.

Castle is a badass. I'm having a blast.
