Multiplayer Cooperative games
Hey,
Looking for some suggestions on multiplayer coop games (for xbox). My roommate and I just finished Xmen Legends and had already beaten Halo 2. It seems that the coop games are very rare, but are usually really fun. |
Conflict: Desert Storm 1 & 2, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2 for more of the same style as X-Men, Ghost Recon 1 & 2 (is 2 out yet?), Rainbow Six 3, Timesplitters 2.
That's all I can think of. |
Try out some CS games. I hear they're pretty good
|
LOTR:Return of the King (and other games in the series).
|
Most the multiplayer games you're going to find are head-to-head. You could try Battle Engine Aquila, its a got a cool coop mode.
|
serious sam se, modded Rune, I loved Halo 1 coop (not so crazy about Halo 2 coop, just xbl action)

RUMOR:
Supposidly all MS Published games (just published, not in house developed) for Xbox2 will have online co-op capability. I was jawing with a buddy of mine and he hinted that MS is going to push very hard for all developers to provide this functionality. So.. If you read into this, Halo 3 will have online co-op.... |
Hmm, how many titles are under Microsoft's belt? That's a big promise to make.
|
So far you are looking at:
shenmue series Quantum Redshift Mechassault Rallisport Halo Project Gotham Blood Wake (dead line I am pretty sure) Amped Crimson Skies Brute Force Midtown Madness Fable (maybe an MMPorpg Shift??) the good thing about this is it may pressure other developers to take a similar path. Although, based on EA's support of Xbox live I wouldn't hold my breath for any of that. The good news is though, they have realized that online co-op is something the customers want, and they are responding. |
Il2 and Pacific Fighters - If you like to fly.
|
Splinter Cell 3 will have some coop play, kind of like NOLF 2, from what I understand.
