can anyone do it for me. i suck at those things. the numbers are:

1st Row: 6 2 5
2nd Row: 12 14 10 11
3rd Row: 13 3 8 4
4th Row: 7 9 1 15

and take your time. i have a save state on it, so you can try it when ever

That puzzle is as old as time. It was invented back in the 1800s I believe. So you should be able to find a guide somewhere. It's kinda hard to explain how to do it.

alright, well does anyone know where to find how to solve these?

Well, just so you should know if you do find a guide and/or actually try to solve the puzzle, it doesn't give you much... (I'm pretty sure it only gives you 100 gold for finishing it -- an amount you could easily get just moving your ship around some more.) :)

that's for the NES version. the GBA version you get these:

1st place: X-Potion

2nd place: Dry Ether, Elixir, Remedy, Hermes's Shoes, Emergency Exit

3rd place: Spider's Silk, White Fang, Red Fang, Red Curtain, White
Curtain, Vampire's Fang, Cockatrice's Claw, Blue Fang, Blue
Curtain

Clear Game: 100 Gil, Potion, Antidote, Gold Needle, Ether, Phoenix Down,
Eye Drops, Echo Grass

*You get an item from the place you placed and the places below. For example,
if you get 1st place, you will get a Last Elixir and an item from the 2nd
place slot, and one from 3rd place, and finally the "Clear Game" prize.

Wait, how can you get 1st, 2nd place? You either solve it or you don't.

it's saying you get one from your category and those underneth
ex. if i got 2nd i would get a 2nd prize, 3rd prize and a clear game prize

Yeah, but how do you get ranked? Is the game timed, and then your time is compared to a list of scores?

it's timed. the times for the prizes themselves i'm not sure of
